Artist Lucas Ihlein works with communication as the primary media of his creative practice. His PhD entitled “Framing Everyday Experience: Blogging as Art” (2010) explored online social engagement as the basis for relational art practice. His work manifests as blogs, performances, pedagogy, experimental film, re-enactments, installations, prints and drawings.
Ihlein is a member of Big Fag Press, SquatSpace, and Teaching and Learning Cinema. He lectures at University of Wollongong.
