Artists in this event:

Joshua Santospirito
Joshua is a writer, comic-artist and makes art in other forms as well. He currently lives in Hobart, Tasmania, eats a lot, and won some awards for his 2013 graphic novel “The Long Weekend in Alice Springs” that he made out of Craig San Roque’s essay.

David Blumenstein

I’m a cartoonist and animator. I’ve been doing comics lately for places like Crikey, Australian MAD and Junkee. Sometimes I post “school reports” by my little brother Tristian. One of them, about Andrew Bolt, won a Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Award in 2013. Currently I’m drawing a book about a pickup artist who came to Australia and failed to turn up on a pier where I was waiting for him.

Cameron Baker

Cameron Baker writes and prints a periodical zine called MOTE. He also contributes written and visual work to various places and publications around Melbourne.

Ashley Ronning

Ashley Ronning is an illustrator and designer based in Brunswick, Melbourne. Since finishing studying graphic design in 2011 she has been freelancing and exhibiting, as well as risograph printing for other artists. She works across a range of mediums including ink, watercolour, pinata, gouche and risograph printing. The subjects of her work often include plants, astronomy and junk food.  She enjoys taking reality and putting in her own mysterious twist.

Leigh Rigozzi is a Sydney based artist. He has exhibited at various galleries and regularly self-publishes collections of his comics work. He edited the Australian comics anthology Blood & Thunder and is an active member of the Rizzeria print collective. He is currently Projects & Communications Officer at the NSW Writers’ Centre.
