Writers’ Night School: Introduction to Podcasting

Podcasts are exploding and more accessible to begin then ever – but the idea of starting a podcast good enough to listen to can be daunting. Lady Parts co-host Sophie Overett runs this introduction to podcasting, to give you all of the tools you need to start – and keep! – podcasting.

Over two sessions in a small, collaborative environment, you will gain an understanding of everything from the equipment needed and how to create comprehensive epidode plans, to the step-by-step process of recording, editing, uploading, and distributing your podcast. After that, all you’ll need are your ideas.

How do I attend this event?

Writers’ Night School events take place in the form of intimate videochats with festival artists, capped strictly at eight places. Audience members participate from home using their own computers and webcams.

PLEASE  NOTE: THIS EVENT IS IN TWO PARTS. The first class runs November 2nd, and the second runs on November 9th. You need only buy one ticket, it is valid for both events.
