Megan Vaughan is a writer, blogger, curator and zinemaker based in London. She started blogging in 2006, first about the music scene in Manchester, and then much more seriously about theatre and performance. Her experimentation with the review format (through emojis, gifs, concrete poetry and interactive storytelling techniques) has attracted significant attention within the arts and from theatre scholars. Alongside this practice, Megan works part-time for the Live Art Development Agency and is researching for a PhD in theatre criticism and aesthetic response at Royal Holloway. She is currently thinking a lot about fan culture, global networks, and the potentials of community curation in online spaces.
